The group of developing countries which belong to the Lome Convention, by which most of their products are allowed into the EC on a non-reciprocal basis. The membership is currently 70 countries, and they are also eligible to grants from the European Development Fund (
EDF) and loans from the European Investment Bank (
EIB).
